The ingredients for each of our products are listed on the product page (see second tab) on our website. We have some products that do not contain nuts, or eggs, or dairy ingredients. HOWEVER, all of our products are made within the same kitchens where nuts, eggs, and dairy are used.
PACKAGING FEE AND SHIP RATES
We have made every effort to keep the packing and shipping costs to our customers as low as possible. We selected UPS for most of our shipping since they offered the best rates. We receive a discounted UPS rate that we directly pass along to our customers. There is a $10 packaging and handling fee that we apply to each order. This is the average cost to us for all of the packaging materials it takes to get freshly baked products to you. We package our fragile baked goods (like cookies, brownies, bread crisps, etc) in extra boxes and plastic bags to protect them, and then pack them carefully in the shipping boxes with lots of packing material. The packaging and ship rate that you select is a combination of the $10 packaging and the UPS ship rate.

GENERAL SHIPPING INFORMATION
ORDERING AND SHIPPING FRESHLY BAKED PRODUCTS
All of our baked goods are made with the finest natural ingredients, no preservatives or additives, and are freshly baked for your order. In order to ensure quality of our baked products, you will receive your order within 2 days of shipping from our bakery. We offer GROUND SHIPPING to areas up to 800 miles from New York City, and 2ND DAY or NEXT DAY AIR for areas outside of the 800 mile radius. UPS Ground usually delivers items in one to two days.
We recommend NEXT DAY AIR for the truly hot weather we sometimes experience in July and August.
We strongly recommend that you confirm that the recipient or another responsible party will be available to receive, open, and properly store your order.
We ship baked goods on Mondays through Wednesdays to ensure a same week delivery:
ORDERING AND SHIPPING NON-PERISHABLE ITEMS
If you are ordering non-perishable items, we may be able to pack and ship your order within 24 hours.
We would prefer that all shipments be shipped to an address where a person can sign for the delivery. In the event that the person you are shipping to has a "signature waiver" on file with UPS, Amy’s Bread cannot be responsible if that package is lost, stolen or damaged by lengthy exposure to the elements. Please check with the recipient if this may be an issue.
ORDER CHANGES AND CANCELLATION POLICY FOR BAKED GOODS
Our products are freshly baked to order. We will need 2 business days to plan, bake, and package your order. Therefore, your change or cancellation must be placed at least 2 business days in advance of the shipping date. We want you to be delighted with your selections! We are proud of what we do, and our pride shows in the beautiful bread and sweets we make, and the services we provide. All of our baked goods are made with the finest ingredients with no artificial additives or preservatives.
Please open and inspect your shipped package immediately. Every effort is made to maintain the quality of our freshly baked products. Your selections were made to order, then baked and packaged just prior to shipping. We carefully selected products for our online shop that ship well and are still delicious after 2-day shipments. If you don’t plan on consuming your items within 1-2 days after receiving your order, we recommend you place them in the freezer.

We are not responsible for delays caused by UPS due to weather, mechanical error, strikes, natural disaster, terrorism safety control, inaccurate shipping information, or mistakes on the part of UPS employees. Therefore, we are not able to offer refunds for those reasons. However, if you believe that UPS has mishandled your package please let us know and we will gladly file a claim with UPS on your behalf.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR BAKING CLASSES (NOTE THAT AS OF MAY 2015 CLASSES ARE ON HOLD)
Because ours is a professional bakery, we ask you to observe some general rules in attire: no sleeveless shirts, short pants or open-toed shoes or sandals. You’ll be on your feet for 2.5 hours and so we recommend wearing comfortable, sturdy shoes. We’ll provide you with an apron. Long hair should be tied back.
